    Description

    My client is a National well established organisation who encourage investment into Ireland by foreign-owned companies. They are seeking to hire a Legal Executive on a 2 year temporary contract for one of their sites in Dublin City Centre. Hybrid working is also available, with the option of 2 days working from home.

    Job Purpose:

    To prepare and complete grant agreements and ancillary documents on behalf of the organisation to give legal and administrative effect to the various approvals and decisions taken under the company's incentive programmes ensuring compliance with State aid rules, applicable domestic legislation and policies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • To draft and negotiate grant agreements and ancillary documents associated with company's incentive programmes in-line with legal guidelines and IDA policies and procedures;
    • To provide accurate and timely advice to colleagues on grant agreements and ancillary documents, applicable domestic legislation, State aid rules and company's delegated powers;
    • To guide client companies though pro-forma agreements;
    • To liaise with external solicitors representing company and those representing client companies;
    • To administer the company's grant revocation processes;
    • To support colleagues in their dealings with clients;
    • To support the Secretariat team;
    • To keep updated on all relevant matters of State aid rules, applicable domestic legislation and company's policies and procedures;
    • To assist in maintaining the Department's Management Information System;
    • To ensure that continuous learning and development is undertaken through informal and formal learning and participation in the Performance Management and Development Review Process;
    • To ensure dignity, respect and equality are applied throughout the organisation and that a work life balance in the workplace is supported as much as possible;
    • Ensure that company's values of People, Professionalism, Passion for Performance and Public Service are upheld at all times;
    • To demonstrate flexibility in undertaking additional tasks as may be assigned.

    Additional Requirements

    • A relevant Level 8 third level business/sector related degree recognised on the National Qualification Framework is essential
    • A full driving licence is essential
    • Ability to work well under pressure and to meet tight deadlines and to work flexibly and independently on own initiative
    • Ability and flexibility to undertake International and domestic travel
    • Flexibility to work outside of standard office hours when required
