    As Lead, Incident Response you will be responsible for managing the Genesys Cloud Incident Response function end-to-end, working cross-functionally with Genesys Cloud Security, Legal, and other internal stakeholders.

    You will also assist with Threat Intelligence functions, including consuming various information sources to assess potential threats to Genesys Cloud and working with the appropriate teams to fine tune monitoring and alerting.

    Major Responsibilities/Activities

    • Maintain the Incident Response process and procedure
    • Work with cross-functional teams to assess security events
    • Ensure teams are following documented playbooks
    • Conduct annual incident response training for relevant stakeholders
    • Document and tune playbooks where necessary
    • Understand & comply with multiple compliance frameworks and regulations
    • Adhere to Genesys Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
    • Deep familiarity with SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, Sumo Logic, Elastic)
    • Familiarity with threat intelligence tools (e.g., RecordedFuture)
    • Familiarity with AWS and their technologies
    • Comfort with web applications and their attack models
    • Able to work end-to-end from alerting to validation
    • Experience documenting incidents and customer-facing RCAs
    • Keen intuition and ability to work independently
    • Detail oriented and systematic
    • Industry relevant certifications (e.g., GCIH, CIM)
