    Occupli are recruiting a Health and Safety Manager in Cork FMCG Manufacturing site.

    Key Objectives:

    • Key member of the Operational Leadershipteam
    • Provide input and influence on overall sitestrategic decisions
    • Create the roadmap for a World Classsafety environment.
    • Work with the site operations directorand Irish Leadership Team to create understanding and awareness of therole of leaders on Health & Safety
    • Coach department leaders on the role ofa leader of safety culture.
    • Risk assesses the site and ensure that thereis clarity on resourcing and capital needs for the medium to long term strategybeing deployed.
    • Bring new ideas and externalperspectives to site and aware of the cutting-edgeprocess, systems and technology from a H&S perspective.
    • Review, update and implement the H&Ssystem of work for Cork Site.
    • Implement Internal Audit processes atsite level and measure performance and action planning.
    • Undertake regular Safety audits, ensure compliance with H&S policy.
    • Liaise with HSA and other outsideagencies in relation to H&S matters.

    Requirements

    Qualifications and Experience:


    • 3 rd level qualification in Health and Safety


    • 5to 7 years' experience in large scale manufacturing operation


    • Enjoysautonomy and work on own initiative.


    • Abilityto influence a cross functional team.


    • Abilityto lead on a site with large contractor presence.


    • Highlevel of attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
