    Our Trust & Safety team's commitment is to keep our online community safe.

    We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.

    As a Program Manager on our Youth Safety & Wellbeing team, you will be responsible to develop strategies to protect minors from experiencing online harms and to support them navigating online risks.

    From setting roadmaps, managing strategy of complex policy areas, ensuring our policies, products, programs and systems work together across our many apps to protect users and prevent abuse.

    You will work closely with policy managers, product, data, and legal to implement policy changes, launch a set of programs, and define and improve new processes.

    It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance.

    Some content viewed may violate our community guidelines, which include but are not limited to bullying; hate speech; child abuse; sexual assault; torture; bestiality; self-harm; suicide; murder.

    What will I be doing?- Own ideation, prioritization, and execution for a critical area of TikTok Youth Safety & Wellbeing, which may encompass Privacy- Owning end to end programs, including defining value to key stakeholder groups and setting measurement strategies.- Work cross-functionally, building synergy and influence with multiple departments within Trust and Safety, Legal, Public Policy, Communications, Core Product and other teams, globally.- Collaborate across global product, program, and regional teams to define the product roadmap and work with our partner teams to make product, technical, and privacy decisions.- Assist with internal and external research efforts to keep the team up-to-date on industry trends and emerging issues related to age assurance product solutions in the digital media space.

    - Understand legislation on the Youth Safety space and how it will translate to programs, find the right stakeholders with-Able to learn and adapt and shift priorities to solve the highest pressures


    Minimum qualifications:

    • You have at least 5 years of experience in a Privacy, Trust & Safety, Risk Management and/or Strategy
    • You have a proven track record of pushing ambitious products, and/or organizational or process changes through to completion in a matrixed and global environment
    • Have excellent and track record of project management ability and excellent organization and coordination
    • Evidence-based, analytical, data-informed. You understand the imperative of using data to support decision-making and to drive prioritization (and therefore resourcing decisions) for continuous product improvement.
    • You have an understanding of the landscape and new policy developments in new media, tech, and the entertainment industry Preferred qualifications:
