    Fohntech are looking for an Instrument Tech Lead to join their team in Dublin.

    Responsibilities

  • Perform Calibrations, troubleshooting, installation, Loop Testing, Commissioning, and repair of the Instrumentation systems
  • Equipment worked on will include but not limited to standard measurement parameters such as Temperature, Level, Flow, Pressure, Humidity, etc
  • Repairs to field instrumentation.
  • Tagging of field instrumentation.
  • Re-wiring field equipment.
  • Working as a part of a busy team the Instrumentation Technician will ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Loop Checking and Commissioning skills.
  • Full loop calibration to DCS
  • Fault finding and diagnostics.
  • Updating and producing documentation
  • To liaise with the project/maintenance team & prepare reports.
  • Consult with and advise process operators

    • Requirements

  • Appropriate trade craft qualification – Electrical & Instrumentation. (Or relevant Instrument experience)
  • 2+ years of relevant previous experience.
  • Experience working on calibrations
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven communication and relationship building ability.
