    Description

    Morgan McKinley is looking for a CIMA qualified Management Accountant to join a leading manufacturing organisation in Wexford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong financial background to contribute to the success of the business and gain experience in a busy and dynamic finance function. The successful candidate will be assisting with the Financial Analysis, Management Accounting process, reporting and business partnering.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Management Unit Analysis:
    • Provide insightful analysis crucial for the monthly reporting cycle.
    • Stakeholder Relationships:
    • Build strong partnerships and maintain relationships with senior managers and their teams.
    • Reporting Enhancement:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve reporting processes.
    • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
    • Regularly update and communicate on key performance indicators.
    • Standard Costing Maintenance:
    • Review and update standard costing on an annual basis.
    • Variance Analysis:
    • Proactively analyse variances and understand the business drivers behind them.
    • Financial Planning:
    • Support business partners with Annual Operating Plan and monthly forecasting, providing data review and recommendations.
    • Project Management:
    • Manage or participate in projects across the organisation.
    • Business Case Support:
    • Provide support to build business cases, including ROI calculations.

    Key Requirements:

    • Qualified accountant (CPA/CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
    • Proven analytical skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel.
    • Experience with SAP or similar software products.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Collaboration and teamwork.
    • Ability to influence.
    • Creative thinking and innovation.
    • Enterprise-minded.
