    Description

    Financial Controller Manufacturing City west €90,000 - €100,000 Bonus, pension health care The company An Irish manufacturing company with a foot print in Europe.

    The Role Conduct thorough analysis of manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses. Implement cost control measures to optimise operational efficiency and reduce expenses without compromising quality. Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and processes to accurately track and report on cost variances. Monitor and analyse product margins to identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on margin enhancement initiatives. Lead the annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning activities. Prepare accurate and timely financial forecasts based on market trends, operational performance, and business objectives. Evaluate financial risks and opportunities and make recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP standards. Analyse financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Present financial information to senior management and provide strategic insights to support decision-making. Work closely with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address any findings or recommendations. The Person Qualified accountant 5 years PQE Manufacturing experience is essential.
