    Description

    We are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Project Manager for a recognised engineering company based in Kildare

    Our client offers high and medium voltage electrical design, installation, inspection, commissioning, and maintenance services for bespoke and full turnkey solutions.

    They are recognised as a Platinum Level HV Preferred Contractor to ESB Networks.

    Due to increased successful project awards in the renewable sector, they are currently looking for Project Manager to work in a fast growing and dynamic environment. They have a superb opportunity for a motivated and highly organised Project Manager in a well-established team.

    This job will require travel to sites, across Ireland. 50% office based / 50% Site Based. They will also look at hybrid working.

    Key Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Effective Interpersonal and communication skills
    • Communicate to all Stake holders at all levels (Weekly/Monthly Status Reports)
    • Ensure Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Standards are upheld and delivered from inception to handover
    • The ability to make decisions under pressure and use your initiative, problem-solving skills in other words
    • Take full ownership of required Projects
    • Good leadership skills to motivate and direct your team and taking ownership of projects.
    • Excellent organisational skills to use your resources to ensure deadlines are met and the project budget is maintained
    • Technical electrical knowledge and ideally general civil experience
    • Ability to carry out technical evaluation of equipment offers and drive cost reductions
    • Liaising with existing & perspective clients
    • Ensure that all site activities are carried out to high standards
    • Monitor & review contractors' activities in line with procedures

    Requirements:

    Suitable candidate must have the following to qualify for this role:

    • Electrical Engineering Degree
    • Willingness to travel within Ireland & the UK
