- Oversees and plans the Intensive Care Unit's daily patient care activities.
- Evaluates skill requirements and workloads to satisfy hospital patient care needs.
- Assigns patients to care and evaluates staff competency.
- Assigns suitable jobs to suitable employees in accordance with departmental standards, legal and professional requirements.
- Clearly communicates any needs or incidents pertaining to the unit to the nurse manager.
- Acts as the unit's resource person.
- Give patients the necessary patient care assistance.
- Determines the proper internal controls for the department and offers tools for enforcing and keeping an eye on compliance.
- carries out relevant tasks as needed.
- By exhibiting strong leadership and communication abilities, you may contribute to the development of a positive work atmosphere.
- NMBI Registered General Nurse license in good standing.
- Five years clinical ICU experience preferred.
- Must possess teaching abilities, leadership qualities, professional judgment, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and a sense of professional development.
- Must demonstrate multi-tasking ability.
