    Description
    We are hiring Clinical Nurse Manager 1 in the Memory Unit, Permanent full-time, 39 Hours per week

    Responsibilities
    • Make sure that every intervention used to treat dementia's non-cognitive symptoms is routinely reviewed and that it demonstrates how it informs practice development and learning.
    • Accountable for achieving the goals of the residential home's dementia/cognitive impairment care.
    • Make certain that any intervention used to treat behavioural and psychological signs of dementia is routinely examined, substantiated, and contributes to learning and practice growth.
    • Lead by example in clinical practice and serve as a mentor and resource.
    • Collaborating with other medical professionals, such as doctors, therapists, and support staff.


    Requirements

    • Must be listed as a registered nurse on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland's (NMBI) current nursing registry.
    • Must have at least five years of post-registration nursing experience, with at least half of that time spent working with dementia patients (within the last six years).
    • To be eligible for a nurse management position, one must have nursing experience.
    • Must hold a post-registration qualification in healthcare management, or be willing to get one within a set period and a post-graduate (Level 8/9) clinical qualification in gerontology or dementia.
