    Description

    Job Title: Project Manager (Fit Out & Joinery)

    Location: Monaghan Salary €80K – €90K DOE

    Our client is an established Fit Out & Specialist Joinery business and is recruiting an experienced Project Manager to join their team.

    Based in the Monaghan Office circa 3 days per week you would need to attend Sites in the Greater Dublin area 2 days per week.

    Reporting to the Contracts Manager

    Primary responsibilities include

    Design / Site 1. Attending pre-commencement meetings and weekly design meetings where required ensuring minutes and records are documented 2. Liaising with clients / architects / contractors and providing any specification info, samples etc. required 3. Attending site on a frequent basis to ensure delivery and programme is delivered 4. Liaising with drawing technicians & production manager to simplify as much as possible the working drawings 5. Researching and specifying any non-standard materials as required 6. Manage changes/extras during install efficiently without affecting the desired programme as much as possible 7. Carrying out checks on all work installed and prepare snag list accordingly (prior to architect/contractor snag list) Scheduling 1. Liaising with production & project co-ordinator to develop a programme of work and timeline for successful completion of project 2. Providing client / architect / contractor with project schedule as required 3. Monitoring of project schedules and through liaison with the team leaders; production manager and project co-ordinator ensure potential delays are recognised early and that appropriate resource plans and schedules are in place to achieve agreed delivery dates Factory 1. Working closely with the team leaders to ensure all information is handed over to the team leaders and that any gaps or omissions are followed up within the system and the relevant department Sub-contractors 2. Liaising with the various sub-contractors as needed on any project (e.g. upholstery,stonework, solid surfaces, metalwork, stainless steel, glazing, plastics, etc) and organising sub-contract work to be completed in time so as not to affect the project programme. 3. Ensuring quality standards are adhered to by all Sub-Contractors 4. Liaising with Clients fitters and agreeing a project schedule with them regarding on-site fit-out dates 4. Carrying out checks on all work installed by or on Clients behalf and preparing a snag list accordingly (prior to architect/contractor snag list)

    What you need to have

    1. Site.Project Management experience 5 years+2. Carpentry trade background 3 Full Driving Licence
