About Alessandra Ingrassia :

I am a licensed Italian lawyer with more than 3 years of experience in civil and commercial law. I obtained a master's degree in law, with an experimental thesis on International law.
My strong dedication and perseverance in studying have led me to follow numerous training courses and seminars focused on in-depth study of civil, administrative and criminal law at the International Association "I Diplomatici." I am extremely detail oriented and have great multitasking capabilities, so I can work on multiple projects at the same time. I have a marked availability for discussion and an orientation towards solving problems in any circumstance.
After graduating I participated in a competition announcement for qualifications, and after an interview with a commission of magistrates I was taken to carry out two years of support for a magistrate at the Public Prosecutor's Office of Catania. It was a very formative experience for me to support the magistrate by participating in hearings, drafting measures for the definition of the trial files (requests for archiving, notices pursuant to Article 415 bis of the Code of Criminal Procedure, requests for indictment);◦ participation in training courses.
I also worked as a lawyer at an important law firm in Catania: "Giaconia e Associati" and I mainly dealt with civil and commercial law. In particular: I collaborated in the preparation of contracts between companies and potential customers, verifying that the contracts were drafted correctly and did not contain vexatious clauses or unfair terms ; I was also involved in the timely management of breach of contracts, and coordination with clients to secure the terms of contracts. I’ve learned that being a contract specialist requires an open mindset, especially if you are leading negotiations. You should be ready to compromise, but not at the expense of the firm. You should be ready to consult and work together with others.
Currently I am a freelance lawyer and I deal with civil law, debt collection and labor law.
I am also passionate about the tech sector and I have deepened my knowledge in the field of software intellectual property, in particular on intellectual property law concerning: patents, copyrights, trade secrets and registered trademarks.
