    MCC Cleaning Services are a family owned and run business for over 30 years, based in Mullingar, Co Westmeath. We provide both contract and specialist cleaning services to a broad portfolio of clients across the Midlands and wider areas.

    Job Description

    MCC Cleaning Services , a family owned provider of premier commercial cleaning solutions, is seeking an ambitious and strategic Area Manager to lead and expand our operations in the western region. This role combines operational excellence with a strong emphasis on business development, aiming to not only maintain our high standards of service but also to grow our market presence and enhance profitability in the region.

    Requirements

    Location: Western Region - Galway Mayo Roscommon

    Employment Type: Full-Time

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Business Development: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region. Develop and implement growth strategies to increase market share and revenue. Network with potential clients and industry partners to promote our services.
    • Operational Leadership: Ensure the seamless operation of cleaning services across multiple sites, adhering to our commitment to quality and efficiency.
    • Team Management: Lead and empower a team of cleaning professionals and supervisors, providing mentorship, and supporting their professional development.
    • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the key liaison for clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded, thereby strengthening client retention and satisfaction.
    • Financial Management: Oversee the region's budget, focusing on cost management and driving profitability. Analyse financial data to inform strategic decisions.
    • Compliance and Safety: Guarantee all operations comply with relevant health and safety standards, minimising risks and promoting a culture of safety.
    • Strategic Reporting: Provide insightful reports to senior management on business growth, operational performance, and strategic initiatives.

    Requirements:

    • Demonstrated experience in business development, with a proven track record of growing business operations in the cleaning services or facilities management sectors.

    • Exceptional leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving business goals.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
    • Financial savvy, experienced in budgeting, financial forecasting, and analysis.
    • A solid understanding of health and safety regulations in the cleaning industry.
    • Strategic thinker, with the ability to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and market expansion.
    • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field would be an advantage.
    • Willingness to travel regularly within the western region.
