- Telecommunications experience would be highly advantageous and preferred.

- Experience with building and managing process flows, conducting training as required
- Identifies internal opportunities to develop new programs and improve current ones with minimal guidance. Collaborates with others to identify root problems (e.g., root-cause analysis), define the program strategy, gather program requirements, identify resource needs, create the project plan and targets, and work across teams to align on the plan of record. Begins to improve operations of existing programs by applying industry methodology, defining program issues, assessing various scenarios, and selecting the optimal scenario to resolve issues. Drives clarity in program issues and strives for simplification.
- Works with cross-functional (e.g., organizational, product, business) stakeholders (e.g., Engineering) to design programs from initiation to delivery with guidance. Collaborates to produce collateral (e.g., proposals, strategy walking deck, internal and external pitch content) to incorporate stakeholder needs and ensure the business objectives are met.
- Demonstrates an understanding of mapping or how systems work and impact one another. Collaborates with others who work with other teams (e.g., Supply Chain, Engineering, Contracts, CELA, Sourcing, DCOPS) to ensure program processes are rigorous and executed efficiently. Helps develop processes around scope and scheduled changes for programs and communicates them to stakeholders. Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is the team behind one of the world's largest cloud infrastructures, responsible for powering all Microsoft online Products and Services as well as powering Microsoft's "Cloud First" mission. Our focus is on smart growth, high efficiency, and delivering trusted experience to customers and partners worldwide. We are looking for passionate, high energy program managers to help achieve that mission.
Within CO+I, the Infrastructure, Planning and Acquisition team is responsible for supporting delivery of datacenter capacity for Microsoft's cloud business. We have a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-million, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects with specific safety, quality, schedule, and cost goals.
To help us accelerate achieving our objectives, growth, and transformation, we are looking for a Business Program Manager to evolve and transform our Business Operations processes, supporting network and fiber spend processes for our data centers.
A successful candidate will: have cross group organizational skills, demonstrate empathy, have well developed analytical and problem-solving capabilities, experience enabling action from data, have a passion to automate processes and thrive on operational support, remain resilient and constructive when faced with changes, and quickly adapt to changes.
