    Description

    We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Product Development Specialist to join a well-known Life Insurer on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. This role will involve working on and evaluating the company's propositions and ensuring their existing profitability as well as planning and delivering new market propositions. The successful candidate will support the team on a variety of projects and act as a technical specialist and point of contact. The Product Development Specialist role also comes with flexible hybrid working options.

    About the Senior Product Development role

    Joining the company's Product Department and reporting to the Head of Product Development, the Senior Product Development Specialist will be responsible for duties including (but not limited to):

    • Designing and developing new product features and initiatives
    • Evaluating the company's propositions throughout the product life-cycle
    • Managing the product delivery process from concept to implementation
    • Ensuring products are profitable, operational and in line with regulations through product reviews
    • Monitoring propositions and leading any regulatory changes required

    Actuarial skills required

    The Senior Product Development Specialist role would suit an Actuary from a Life Insurance background with 3+ years of actuarial experience. Knowledge of regulatory developments and the life insurance landscape in Ireland are essential. Strong communication, project management and planning skills are also a must.
