    Job Description

    Job Title: Software Tester L3

    Location: Dublin, Limerick or Castlebar, hybrid working approach, a blend of working on‐site and remotely
    within Ireland

    Contract: Rolling contract, Long Term or FTE or Permanent with Test Triangle Ltd.

    Client Technology Stack:

    Experience Level Required:

    · Strong theoretical base in subject area, with ability to apply best practice principles to the subject matter context.

    · Experience in leading complex projects/programmes.

    · Responsible for leading a high performing team of professionals, including the ability to coordinate contributions of other specialists to complete a joint project.

    · Likely to have more than 7 years of ICT Delivery experience including 5+ years of professional experience in their specialized field.

    Key Responsibilities:

    · To ensure that the software quality of the Revenue systems and applications, are robustly and

    · accurately tested, in line with Revenue Test Policy.

    · Working across multiple projects and Teams, supporting project managers in all aspects of their work.

    · Adhering to and Implementing Revenues Test practices and Procedures

    · Planning and co-ordinating all aspects of testing, including specialised technical testing such as Performance, Penetration and Automation testing.

    · Driving automation testing initiatives as per Revenue strategy and processes.

    · Outlining resource requirements for a project(s)/sub team.

    · Estimating and planning the work of the team.

    · Tracking projects progress against the plan and reporting variances.

    · Guiding and managing the tasks of team members, both functional and automation testers.

    · Managing issues and risks affecting the project/team.

    · Ensuring standards are adhered to and maintaining the quality of work produced by the team.

    · Managing resources to meet aggressive delivery deadlines.

    · Collaborating closely with all stakeholders, to ensure that quality feedback can be given as early and as efficiently as possible in the delivery cycle.

    · Participating in the project governance process including attendance at relevant steering group and stakeholder meetings.

    · Identifying and implementing continuous service improvements.

    Key Requirements:

    · ISTQB Certified Tester.

    · Ability to manage and work with large teams.

    · Fully proficient in project tracking tools, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA.

    · Excellent written and oral communication skills.

    · Experience leading test teams on projects using Automation testing concepts and tools.

    · Have a sound grasp of the fundamentals of taxation, from registration through to returns filing and payment options.

    · Adaptable to working under a variety of project delivery methodologies, waterfall, Agile (Scrum) and hybrid development model.

    · Experience interfacing with business owners and users, application development and technical colleagues, testers and all levels of management.

    · Ability to build relationships and encourage open and constructive discussion amongst the team

    · Ability to coach and develop team members.

    · Ability to review project deliverables for completeness, quality and compliance with project Standards

    · Understanding of systems architecture and databases

    · Strong knowledge of testing best practices and emerging Standards

    · Knowledge of regression and functional/requirement-based test strategies.

    · Ability to identify automaton testing opportunities.

    · The following qualifications would also be desirable:

    o Project Management Certification(such as PMP Certification) and Scrum Master Certification.
