Description

Our Client, A Leading Food production company based in the midlands is currently looking to hire a Quality Manager for their state of the art facility in Westmeath. This company are a household name and are market leaders in their area. As the Quality Manager you will develop a quality team that aligns with your own beliefs around quality within a manufacturing environment. You will be granted optimum exposure to the latest tools and technology's on the market along with given lots of autonomy and ownership allowing you to implement new procedures and policies as you see fit. This is a position where you can make real impact while also achieving a good work life balance.

Responsibilities:

To Manage and Implement the Food Safety Quality Management System in the plant.
Develop and lead a plant production team that will focus on compliance, issue prevention, performance measurement, root cause problem solving, attention to detail and team working ensuring 100% safe food.
To ensure through the Quality Assurance team that all Audits are successful and that any Corrective Actions are carried effectively.
Lead the resolution of product complaints, non-conformances, and customer queries.
To ensure that Product is produced 100% to specification at all times.
To lead and manage all external factory audits.
To develop Quality team so that there is always cover for each role with all members continuously learning and developing.

Experience:

2+ years experience in a quality management role
3rd level degree in related discipline
Knowledge of BRC standard
Good knowledge of food legislation and standards
