    Description

    Shift Maintenance Technicians, M&E sought for New Data Centre facility in Dublin. This facility includes a grid substation as well as on-site power generation. Permanent Staff Positions that offers fantastic Career Advancement with leading Data Centre Solutions multinational organisation. Salary inc shift circa €70,000 – €80,000 doe plus benefits. 12 hour shifts (continental pattern)

    You will carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive works to building infrastructure/plant, equipment in accordance with agreed service levels, and respond to site engineering emergencies.

    Electrical; UPS systems, BMS operation, emergency standby generators, testing of electrical systems, Feeders, Transformers, Switchgear, Battery banks, ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units, complex automatic control equipment, including relay logic, programmable logic controllers (PLC's), building management systems, and their integration with the data centre infrastructure. Medium voltage distribution systems and associated switch gear and protection equipment. MV and LV switching procedures and safety protocol

    Mechanical; Feeders, Generators, Fuel Systems, ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units, Chillers, Air handling units, CRAC units, Fire Alarm systems, and Fire Suppression systems.

    What you need

    Education A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic Mathematics skills. Level 6 minimum in a mechanical and / or electrical discipline

    City & Guilds 236 parts 1 & 2 (or later) 17th Edition or equivalent qualification

    Up to date skills on building management systems, ACOP's, fire and environmental control, building control, and health and safety.

    Experience of mission critical facilities maintaining, but not limited to, UPS systems, BMS operation, emergency standby generators, testing of electrical systems.

    Comprehensive mechanical and electrical engineering experience, undertaking reactive and planned preventative maintenance.

    Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations with regard to maintenance activities
