    Description

    My client is an Irish-owned global manufacturing group, based in North Dublin. They are currently looking to fill a key role within their Financial Control Team.

    The selected candidate will work under the Group Financial Control manager, focusing on producing monthly consolidated group management accounts and overseeing the annual group audit and statutory financial statements process for the Irish and UK subsidiaries.

    In this position, you will play a crucial part in a prominent team within the Group, collaborating with finance teams in all divisions and offering support to Group functional teams.

    Additionally, you will assist in M&A activities and handle complex accounting issues across the group.


    Responsibilities:
    • Prepare monthly Group consolidated management accounts
    • Assist in the year-end audit and preparation of Group Financial Statements
    • Update finance policies, procedures, and conduct balance sheet reviews
    • Support M&A activities
    • Manage group reporting structure and chart of accounts within the consolidation platform

    Requirements:
    • Big 4/top 10 trained accountant with a minimum of 2 years PQE
    • Qualified chartered accountant (CA/ACA/ACCA/CPA, etc.)
    • Experience in FRS102, Cognos/SAP, and other consolidation tools
    • Staff management experience preferred
    • Effective communication and presentation skills
