    Description

    My client, one of Ireland's leading laboratory suppliers, is actively looking for an Internal Technical Sales Specialist to join their team.

    This is a full-time permanent position based in Dublin 24 .

    *Flexible working hours and hybrid work available*

    The Role

    · To understand and support the many varied customers and their specific environmental monitoring requirements.

    · There will also be a significant proportion of proactive effort required to generate opportunities for sales.

    · Responsible for supporting existing customers as well as developing new business within our primary markets pharmaceutical, food & beverage, education, chemical, and other appropriate sectors.

    · Contributes to team performance by accomplishing shared tasks to achieve results as expected.

    · Provide sales support to our field sales and engineering teams and existing customers.

    Knowledge & Skills Required

    · Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.

    · Sales experience while desirable is not essential.

    · A third level science or business degree is desirable but not essential.

    · Customer service

    · Meeting sales goals

    · Prospecting skills - Closing skills

    · Product knowledge

    · Client relationship development skills and excellent communication skills.
