In short, We Enable PossibilitySM.The European Mortgage team provides Significant Risk Transfer (SRT) solutions to European banks in respect of mortgages and other loans. The team in Ireland is expanding quickly in line with the growing mortgage insurance segment. The Actuarial Analyst will work with a team of c.10 experienced mid-level and senior actuaries and insurance professionals.
The Actuarial Analyst will gain experience in a broad range of actuarial activities including:
3.Assist in performing quarterly portfolio surveillance and preparing reports for various stakeholders.
4.Assist in providing analyses to support financial reporting / planning.
5.Keeps abreast of trends in European banking industry and SRT market.
Knowledge & Skills:
Strong mathematical skills, analytical and problem-solving ability. Attention to detail. Strong written communication skills. Ability to synthesize and clearly present findings to stakeholders. Interest in mortgage insurance / credit risk. Prior Excel experience. Data analytics / programming skills, not essential though would be considered advantageous.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in an actuarial or mathematical discipline. Successful progress made in actuarial exams and a commitment to continue studying to complete actuarial exams.
