- Managing the calculations of reserves and developing methodologies for calculating technical reserves
- Update Reserve policies, review technical and reinsurance accounts on an ongoing basis and ensure they are in line with current reserving policies.
- Implement the reserves calculation in the Data Centralizer.
- Manage analysis of the gaps between local GAAP and IFRS17
- Aid and collaborate with the Solvency II Modelling Team in meeting the requirements of the Actuarial Function
- Experience with Programming languages (SAS, SQL, VBA) and Microsoft Packages (Excel)
- Knowledge of reserving techniques
- Fluency in English.
- Other European languages are advantageous (French)
- Great communication skills, thrives working as part of a team.

We have a wonderful vacancy for a Reserving Analyst in a leading insurance company in the European market. The successful candidate would assist in Reserving and Actuarial Processes for Irish Entities. This position is based in Dublin and has a hybrid work structure. This is a great opportunity for a Trainee Actuary with preferably 2 years' experience to join passionate and positive team. The role is a mix of Life and Non-Life.
About the Reserving Analyst role
This role will report to the Reserving Team Leader Irish Entities. Duties for the Reserving Analyst role include (but are not limited to):

This Reserving Analyst role would best suit an Actuarial Trainee with 2 years' working experience in an actuarial role. Candidates will ideally have experience of the following:
