    Description
    We are partnering with aglobal leader in regulated manufacturingwho are looking for aCost Accountantto join their team on apermanentbasis. As they continue their exciting journey toscale their operation in Kilkenny.

    the Senior Cost Accountant will support the site finance and operations teams across several key areas of the business and will be responsible for setting the standard cost for their products.

    Overview of Main Responsibilities(full job description available on request):
    Variance analysis reports to management through a suite of management reporting.

    Work with the various functions to identify, analyse and drive the implementation of significant cost reduction and operational efficiency improvement opportunities in the business.

    Support the implementation of the costing and financial systems in SAP including asset management and equipment spares management. Participate in the ongoing development of the cost and inventory accounting systems.

    What the ideal candidate looks like:
    Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with 3-5 years PQE. Experience in a high-volume complex manufacturing environment, ideally within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry. Strong product costing and cost management expertise is essential. Lean/Six Sigma qualification, a distinct advantage. Strong ERP skills, SAP a distinct advantage.
