- To support department heads and others to understand collate data outcome requirements and develop appropriate collection tools which will capture the required data and automatically generate graphs and /or allow for data analysis to meet the requirements of the user audience.
- To standardise data definitions across sites based on best practice and with agreement of SME (Subject Matter Experts).
- To collect and validate data for Clinical Metrics, KPI's, goals and targets.
- To undertake clinical and non-clinical audits on a regular basis.
- To manipulate large volumes of data to produce detailed analytical reports.
- To assist department heads in preparing quality monitoring and other graphical reports through expert use of excel and other relevant software.
- To analyse data against quality indicators using complex standards and protocols according to National and International clinical guidelines as required.
- To collate, quantify & prepare reports as requested by for review and distribution to various hospital and medical, clinical governance, infection control committees.
- To design surveys and monitoring / auditing tools as requested.
- To become familiar with other relevant software packages.
- To assist with ad hoc as required.
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, information management, or similar.
- Enthusiastic to undertake further studies to develop professionally.
- Experience working in a previous Healthcare setting would be an advantage.

Overview of Role
The purpose of this role is to provide administration & analytic support (data abstraction, analysis, investigation, reporting and follow-up) for clinical and quality indicators from internal and external initiatives to improve patient care and clinical outcomes. Additionally, this administrative position collates data and reports to support Clinical Governance, patient safety, performance improvement, and clinical documentation processes.
This position is on onsite role and based in our UPMC Global Technology Operations Centre Office at MacDonagh Junction ,Kilkenny.
