    Description

    Finance Analyst - Revenue Assurance

    Job Brief: We are looking for a driven and analytical Financial Analyst Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting/finance operations, with excellent analytical and communication skills. Would suit newly qualified accountant/finalist.

    Job Overview: The Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's revenue streams. This position involves analysing financial data, identifying discrepancies, and implementing controls to mitigate revenue risks. The Financial Analyst collaborates closely with various departments, including finance and operations, to safeguard revenue and optimize financial performance. The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and support reporting processes around financial operations.
    • Analysis of Revenue and invoicing.
    • Monitor and Audit data quality and contract compliance across the Finance Operations function.
    • Manipulate and Analyse complex data sets.
    • Conduct industry research and analysis.
    • Identify, analyse, mitigate and prevent revenue leakage. Support Group CFO with data sets required to negotiate and resolve contracts.
    • Ownership of the average revenue per procedure report, providing meaningful and insightful variance analysis and commentary.
    • Seek every opportunity to reinforce the culture of Margin optimisation across the organisation.
    • Work closely with data analytics team to develop new dashboards and reports.
    • Deep-dive analysis on topics where performance initiatives / opportunities have been identified.
    • Monitor, analyse and report on individual unit KPIs including costs and profitability.
    • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, guidelines and protocols.
    • Positive collaboration with the finance function, acting on pressure points and delivering the highest quality information, advisory and consultation when required.
    • Ensure full compliance as per internal guidelines (e.g. Code of Conduct, Quality and H&S) and applicable external regulations and agreements.
    • Promote the mission, vision and values of the hospital and support hospital polices & procedures - in particular the culture of safety and the code of conduct.
    • Other tasks as identified by Head of FP&A and Head of Finance Operations.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
    • Newly qualified accountant/finalist with recognised accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
    • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis.
    • Strong analytical and communication skills.
    • High-level of proficiency with Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Experience of working with contracts and contract compliance an advantage.
