Description

A well known multinational in Dublin West is looking to hire a Finance Business Partner. As the Finance Business Partner you will implement a culture and structure of strong internal controls, co-ordinate interaction with Shared Service Centre and manage financial control, auditing and reporting.

This role is a 12 month FTC and would be perfect for someone coming out of practice or returning from abroad and open to a contract. Salary up to €65,000 DOE.

A well known multinational in Dublin West (hybrid) is looking to hire a Finance Business Partner for a 12 month FTC. In this role you will implement a culture and structure of strong internal controls, co-ordinate interaction with Shared Service Centre and manage financial control, auditing and reporting.

This role is a 12 month FTC and would be perfect for someone coming out of practice or returning from abroad and open to a contract. Salary up to €65,000 DOE.

Key responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner

Internal Financial Control

Review and assess financial controls in the business
Work with Finance team to redesign processes and controls for best practice
Create a monthly controls system to ensure all financial controls are reviewed and corrective actions taken

Financial Shared Services

Work with team to ensure a smooth transition of General Accounting to the Financial Shared Services Centre (FSSC)
Put in place controls to ensure the FSSC's work is accurate, timely and consistent.
Train staff on systems to manage control accounts and financial reporting (blackline)
Cash Allocation
Implementation of an automated cash allocation software (Rimilia – offshoot of Blackline)
Create processes and controls to ensure cash allocation is accurate, timely and consistent.

Risk Management Office for business
Lead annual risk reviews
Financial Control
Cash Management

Taxation

Oversee Payroll
Intercompany
IFRS 16 Reporting
Co-ordinate Month End Reporting
Budgeting and Forecasting
Co-ordinate monthly forecasting
Co-ordinate annual Budget

Key requirements of the Finance Business Partner

Accountancy qualification
A minimum of 3 years practical experience in an audit or finance management role
Experience in continuous improvement projects would be desirable but not essential
Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required
Experience of working with an ERP System
Experience of working with process mapping and audit controls software would be desirable but not essential
Ability to listen and understand information
Presents information in a clear and concise manner
Knows appropriate way of communicating with customers, peers and line managers and external stakeholders
