    Description

    Fexco Drive Operations are currently recruiting for a Risk and Security Analyst to join their team. This role is a permanent, full-time position with the opportunity to work from our offices based in Killorglin, Co. Kerry with flexibility to work a hybrid model.

    Job Purpose

    As a key part of the Operations and Security team, the Risk and Security Analyst will play a critical role in adopting Group Risk vision and strategies ensuring the Drive division adheres to, and complies with, regulatory risk and security requirements, and industry best practices and controls, being a key contributor to help achieving and maintaining industry standards certifications. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn about the business and IT management frameworks and engage with a variety of stakeholders.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Work with different Drive teams to ensure risks are identified and assessed regularly.
    • Ensure owners are assigned to all risks identified and collaborate with them to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to address the identified vulnerabilities and threats.
    • Monitor regularly risks state and prepare and present comprehensive reports to key stakeholders.
    • Identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements to the organization's risk management framework.
    • Monitor security applications and systems to detect and respond to security incidents and threats.
    • Analyse security alerts and investigate potential security breaches, providing timely resolution and escalation as necessary.
    • Manage security tickets assigned, prioritising and resolving issues according to established SLAs.
    • Contribute to the development and enhancement of security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
    • Stay abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, providing insights and recommendations for enhancing the organization's security posture.
    • Ensure all documentation and evidence required is kept up to date and readily available in the right location (risk register, processes, policies, etc.).

    Qualifications / Experience Required:

    • Third level qualification in a relevant IT discipline or equivalent level of experience in the workplace.
    • ITIL v3 or 4 qualification or equivalent industry experience preferred.
    • Proven experience in risk analysis, risk management, and information security, preferably in a corporate environment.
    • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, systems architecture, and security technologies.
    • Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies, frameworks (e.g. ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, NIS2), and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR).
