    Our Business Technology Hub in Cherrywood has an open position for a SRE Engineer within our Cardiac Rhythm Management department.

    About the Position

    We are in search of a mid-level DevOps/SRE Engineer who will oversee our applications hosted in the EU region. Operating under general supervision, you will be responsible for a range of development and production operation tasks, such as planning, coordinating software deployments, implementing services using Azure Cloud, and conducting maintenance. Your role will involve working on various Cloud services encompassing PAAS and IAAS services. Furthermore, you will handle production support, on-call responsibilities, monitoring, continuous automation, and apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to operational challenges while contributing to quality, compliance, and security initiatives.

    The DevOps Engineering team offers a dynamic and fast-paced work setting where engineers collaborate closely to deliver remote care software services to patients and healthcare providers. You will engage with other engineers from Architecture, Development, Product, IT, and Systems engineering teams to continuously identify areas for enhancement by integrating a DevOps/SRE approach into our product offerings.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in implementing and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructure
    • Collaborate with developers to identify potential operational issues with software and workflows prior to production launch
    • Work with cross-functional teams and external partners to introduce software to the market
    • Coordinate software and application deployments in various environments
    • Monitor and provide support for the production environment
    • Address Tier-2 production tickets
    • Evaluate existing processes for inefficiencies and enhancements, design new processes to adapt to the evolving infrastructure
    • Create tools and automation to streamline workflows and processes
    • Support all Company initiatives, adhere to policies, operating procedures, and processes, maintain positive communication and collaboration with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors at all levels

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
    • Three or more years of DevOps experience managing on-premises or Cloud applications
    • Solid understanding of software programming, development, releases, networking principles, database schema, cybersecurity, and cloud computing
    • Good grasp of modern, cloud-centric architectures and microservices
    • Proficiency in Java applications, Node.js, ActiveMQ, Microservices, CI/CD pipelines, Azure Kubernetes Cluster, Postgres
    • Familiarity with the Linux operating system, standard networking protocols, and components
    • Methodical problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, a strong sense of ownership and drive
    • Capability to manage multiple assignments and excel in a diverse cross-functional team environment
