Station H

Meet & Greet
Quite a few people are waiting. All walks of life, ages or race. All have a different story. Some are apprehensive and worried while others seem to be relieved. Yet we are all here together waiting to board a transport. The final destination of the travel back and forth between the two points is called Station H.
I am one of the first to get into the large vehicle and sit behind the motorist in charge. He smiles at me. His name is Jacek. He tells me he has been doing this job forever. He says its gonna be alright. He asks my name and my story. He asks me if I have everything I need with me. I answer yes adding that I travel light. He smiles again. He says that's the best way and it will come handy later on.
Jacek gets busy shepherding my travel companions into the shuttle. Some require assistance but the process is pretty fluid. The shuttle capacity indicate 100 including the driver. When I ask Jacek why 99 passengers only. He answers enigmatically that's its because its one less than one hundred and nine more than ninety.
How long will it take ? I ask Jacek. As long as you want it to be my friend. It's up to you. You can move with me with the brakes on or you can go with the flow. The only thing that is sure is that we will have an intermediate stop for everybody on board. Why that ? I enquire. Always good to have time for a pause says Jacek.
Cut It Loose : The Cemetery of Bad Vibes
I can see the stop now. Its foggy and the place is crowded with containers full of cases, rucksacks and bags of different size, form or colours. At that point Jacek gets up and asks the passengers to tone down the ongoing conversations. He has an important announcement to make. For those of you who have forgotten I would like to remind you that you are now dead. Yes you are deceased. I can see that it seems to come as a surprise to some of you. That's alright and expected depending on the circumstances of your passing.
People are looking at each other with incredulous eyes, some cry. I am looking at Jacek with an interrogative stare. He ignores me and pursues his short intervention by saying that the place we have reached is called the Cemetery of Bad Vibes. Before we reach our final destination he requests that we all empty our belongings even those who only have meagre possessions. One last thing ladies and gentlemen time is not the essence. Do what you have to do. Its your journey. But I am going to ask you now to make a choice. I would like you to consider letting go of all the frustrations, hindrance and life defeats. Please allow yourself to undertake a walk thru the cemetery of bad vibes. It will unfold many aspects of life and stretch out that piece of humanity we all carry.
I am anesthetized with stupor. My brain is numb. I am in shock. My senses are frozen. I am too fearful to make a move one way or the other. Sensing my hesitation, Jacek pats me on the back while encouraging me to go towards the entrance. I am thinking its a beautifully crafted piece of steel work. I guess I am trying to distract myself. I am very nervous. I hesitate. Never before the act of entering has been so solemn. What am I meant to do? I ask Jacek. You will know when you get there ! he replies.
Terminus
I don't know how and when but we are all back in the transfer vehicle. Jacek is smiling to himself, like congratulating an alter ego after a job well done.
Where is station H Jacek ? I ask him a few minutes into the final leg of the journey. Its where you want it to be he answers vaguely. Not any wiser it takes me a while to process the words. What does it mean ? What is station H ? What H stands for ? Who will be there and what will I do?
I am torn apart with questions and I have no obvious answers. I can see Jacek in the mirror. He keeps smiling. Seeing me looking at him thru the mirror he offers me an eyewink. We are nearly there. He stops.
He turns back to me and says. Hope and conflict have always been constant denominators of your life.
Remember intent is not finality.
Have a good one
