Mechanical Service Engineer - Ireland - Morgan McKinley

As a Mechanical Service Engineer, you will serve as a dedicated technical advocate for our customers, responsible for product selection, quoting, troubleshooting, and promoting our product line. Your role encompasses supporting customer technical requirements, resolving technical issues, assisting with equipment selection, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Address customers' technical issues and aid in selecting the most suitable equipment.
• Prepare comprehensive product proposals, including commercial aspects, and respond to customer inquiries.
• Offer technical support related to process equipment and participate in companywide continuous improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with supplier partners to size and select application products, identifying key applications and potential new uses.
• Provide technical support to the Sales team, troubleshooting operational and product issues.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering for the development and execution of product training programs.
• Respond to technical queries from the Sales team and customers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a focus on Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in Application Engineering or a related field.
• Proven ability to solve customer issues by providing appropriate technical and product recommendations.
• Experience in technical product sales.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude or training.
