Senior Investment Manager - Ireland - Morgan McKinley

My client - a high level investment fund is seeking to hire a Senior Investment Manager to join its Real assets team. In this position, you will oversee a substantial portion, if not all, facets of specific transactions. This encompasses guiding the investment from inception through its entire lifecycle, including origination, investment structuring, negotiation, due diligence, and deal completion. You will engage in various transaction types, spanning from direct equity or debt investments in development projects to structuring investments in residential, commercial real estate, and infrastructure funds and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage intricate components of new transactions and diverse portfolio management tasks effectively.
• Deliver high calibre papers and presentations of significant quality and impact.
• Source a pipeline of suitable transactions capable of yielding commercial returns and economic benefits through networking and external connections.
• Demonstrate exemplary commercial analysis while ensuring compliance with investment funds legal, risk, economic impact, and ESG criteria.
• Define analysis framework, coordinate external advisors, and oversee investment projects throughout the investment process.
• Front negotiations with a broad spectrum of external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of pertinent experience in real estate, infrastructure, corporate finance, investment banking, family office or related fields.
• Third level degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, or equivalent; advanced degrees or professional qualifications are advantageous.
• Proven track record in corporate finance, adept at structuring equity, debt, and fund investments.
• Skilled in managing and structuring debt and equity investments, including familiarity with fund frameworks.
• Previous involvement in real estate and/or infrastructure sectors, with a capacity to swiftly gain expertise in specific domains.
• Proficient negotiator with extensive experience and capability.

The salary range for this role is negotiable based on experience and is supported by a benefits package.
