    What is the Opportunity?


    Working in exciting, business-critical roles across our Risk & Compliance division, offers you excellent career development opportunities. You will develop your understanding of a wide array of insights, across all risk types and build strong senior level relationships within Group Risk and the wider Bank of Ireland Group.

    We are recruiting for roles in our teams across Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Process Improvement, Data Risk, Market Risk and Compliance.

    In this role, you will:

    • Work in partnership with Group businesses and functions on their respective assessments in order to enhance the consistency and accuracy of risk assessments.
    • Maintain good working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders across all three lines of defence.
    • Deliver data analysis that transforms risk data into compelling business and strategic risk insights.
    • Identify and integrate new internal and external data sources including internal structured data, semi-structured web data, unstructured text data to improve risk analytics and management.



    Essential Qualifications


    Third Level qualification, in Maths, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Machine Learning, Analytics or an equivalent quantitative field.

    What will make you stand out?


    You will have excellent attention to detail and strong written, presentation and communications skills. You will work effectively with senior stakeholders across the Group with the ability to constructively challenge, where required.

    The ability to prioritise tasks and thrive when dealing with competing demands and challenging timeframes is a must

    A strong understanding of risk management and appreciation of the key issues facing the Group would be advantageous as would experience in the production of Board-level reporting.

    We have hybrid roles that can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin. Travel will be required for in-person collaboration, exact frequency to be agreed with manager.
