    Description

    The RTR Manager will join an excellent finance team with a fantastic company culture, report to the Senior Finance Manager, and lead a team of qualified RTR Accountants. This is an excellent opportunity for those with previous team leadership experience to become part of a leading pharmaceutical organisation on a full-time permanent basis (Hybrid working model), with the opportunity to excel in their careers and progress within a thriving organisation.

    The RTR Manager will lead an accounting team, executing general accounting procedures from transaction processing to financial closure and periodic external reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annually) to support corporate, country/legal entity, and regional controllers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the month-end close process, close governance, and associated corporate reporting responsibilities.
    • Contribute to the advancement of the Target Operating Model (TOM) by identifying additional activities for transition to outsource partners and facilitating the transition of more complex activities to the regional shared services organisation.
    • Provide reporting on agreed performance measures, KPIs, and goal-setting processes to support Shared Services.
    • Offer support and guidance to internal and external teams in identifying, implementing, and maintaining effective controls for finance process activities to ensure ongoing data integrity for the company.
    • Support the ongoing development of team members through the utilisation of the company's training and development tools.
    • Lead the team in the execution of ad hoc and special project assignments.

    Key Requirements

    • Fully Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA
    • 5+ years relevant experience in a multinational organisation - working on US GAAP based financial close.
    • 3-5 years people management experience, mentoring and developing teams.
    • SAP or other major ERP Systems experience is desirable.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
