- Responsible for carrying out periodical reviews of investment asset positions including variance analysis for material movements
- Run, maintain, control the in house investment management accounting system (SimCorp)
- Responsible for the monthly delivery of investment accounting numbers into the general ledger (SAP), reconciled to source system (SimCorp/Clearwater)
- Document and maintain the investment operating processes and procedures ensuring all are up to date
- Produce regular BAU reporting including AOC
- Ensure adequate documentation of all tasks undertaken
- Ensure support model is appropriate for BAU & update for any changes in the operating model
- Support team members in their operational tasks as required
- Assist in the embedding of the risk culture and control framework across Investment Shared Services.
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- German or French fluency (highly desirable)
- Self-starter who can confidently take initiative
- Highly flexible with the ability to work at pace in an environment of change
- Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) minimum of 5 years of experience
- Expertise in SAP
- Background in asset management, insurance, private equity or banking
- Knowledge of financial instruments
- IFRS knowledge required (Solvency II desirable)
- Experience with SimCorp and Clearwater (desirable)

Job Type: 12-month FTC
The Investment Accountant is a key business role within the Investment Shared Services team. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the oversight of the in-house investment accounting system, associated operational accounting, and controls and reconciliations, attesting that all investment asset accounting is correct and delivered to SAP for IFRS reporting. This role will have exposure to projects spanning international markets and working environments, and the successful candidate will be a part of a fast-moving and growing business.
