- Drive documentation and implementation of vital network and security technologies.
- Lead efforts in enhancing existing solutions and implementing strategies to align with upcoming technology trends.
- Collaborate with teams to explore planning and design possibilities for leveraging new technologies.
- Lead and contribute to the documentation and deployment of solutions and technologies for large-scale projects.
- Take charge in executing a major nationwide network initiative, encompassing various projects like 802.1X rollout, network hardware upgrade, firewall enhancement, network segmentation, and remote access solution deployment.
- Handle troubleshooting and resolution of intricate issues related to Network Security, LAN/WAN, and WLAN technologies.
- Optimize technology investments and promote cost-efficiency whenever feasible.
- Foster innovation within the team to explore new solutions and implement innovative approaches.
- Maintain communication with key vendors to stay informed about their technology roadmap.
- Conduct validation and testing, as well as migration and production release tasks.
- Offer comprehensive documentation for all deliverables and comply with network and security best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field like Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in designing and implementing network architecture for LAN, WAN, and Data Centre networks.
- Familiarity with network security protocols and technologies such as Firewalls, VPNs, and other relevant tools.
- Proficiency in routing protocols including OSPF and BGP.
- Experience in troubleshooting LAN setups and knowledge of Data Centre network technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Juniper, Cisco routing, and switching technologies.
- Proven track record in documenting technical procedures and implementing changes within live environments under change control protocols.
- Holder of a CCNP certification or equivalent with Azure and O365 knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
- Solid technical expertise to develop effective solutions.
