Senior Financial Accountant

Morgan McKinley are delighted to exclusively engage with a well recognised business in North Cork to hire a Senior Accountant onto their team.

This position holds accountability for maintaining robust relationships across all sectors of the organisation, enhancing the understanding and impact of financial reporting on the businesses performance, and delivering insights that align financial reports with business strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage financial operations, reporting, and relationships for the Irish business.
• Provide accurate financial information to senior management and trustees.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and optimise cost efficiency.
• Coordinate statutory accounting and liaise with auditors.
• Oversee treasury management and tax compliance.
• Manage incoming resources and financial systems development.
• File necessary financial documents within legal deadlines.
• Perform other duties as required.

What you will need:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, CPA, ACCA & CIMA)
• Strong IT/financial systems knowledge
• Self-motivated with excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities
