    Role Profile: Governance & Assurance Associate

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Regulatory Reporting: Responsibility to conduct reviews and provide assurance on all regulatory returns to the Central Bank of Ireland. Strict SLA's and formatting requirements in order to successfully submit the bank with no errors.
    • Assurance: There are a number of assurance programmes reviewing all interactions (Written, verbal, notation) with customers through servicing activities that provide oversight and findings to MCFID Board and operational management.
    • Processes: CCR data correction, Deimos Admin and any relevant processes required to be managed to process individual requests.
    • Action management (Assurance, Incidents, CMP, Audit, RCSA): Ensuring actions are managed appropriately and oversee any resolution of errors and improvement of processes and associated controls
    • Change Process & UAT: Refine business requirements to improve processes, engage with change and dev to refine and implement required system and process changes.
    • Outsourcing Due Diligence: Oversight of the firms outsourcing policy, conducting annual reviews on Third Party servicers.
    • Operational Resilience: Implementation of the firms policy and conducting an annual Disaster recovery and resilience test internally and with suppliers.

    The need & objectives

    The FTE would be required to support the first line governance and assurance objectives in relation to assurance reviews, regulatory reporting, specifically high interaction with CCR, customer account reviews & Deimos admin processes.

    High attention to detail and administration skillset is required. Contributing to the wider business goals and responding to issues in a professional and timely manner.

    High level of Irish Mortgage knowledge and a high focus on the correct customer outcomes and resolutions focus is consistently in focus and a requirement of the role.

    Is this you?

    • Strong experience of mortgage servicing loan activities
    • Excellent stakeholder engagement and collections experience
    • Strong analytical & review skillset in order to make recommendations on aspects of the process
    • Risk oversight and control management
    • Ideally APA / QFA qualified
    • Proven track record of preparation of referrals and recommending actions including strategy execution, monitor and recommend corrective action as required
    • Demonstrate compliance to CCMA/CPC/SME codes
    • Proven track record of working within the principles of Treating Customers Fairly ('TCF')
    • Accurate review and interpretation of borrower's financial information
    • Maintain good interpersonal relationships
    • Experience of working in a fast paced, changeable environment
