In this position, you will play an important role within the Operational Excellence (OPEX) team supporting Lean deployment, SMART transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Record to Report (RtR) department. This role will report into the RtR OpEx Leader.
As part of this team, the role will support:
· the implementation of operational excellence strategies.
· the incorporation of lean principles, practices & tools in the culture and processes under transformation.
· implementation & actions that bring about improvements which include but are not limited to customer value, quality, delivery and growth.
Responsibilities:
Process Improvement : Support operational excellence within RtR by working with all teams to create, standardize and improve processes. Develop an understanding of lean tools such as MDI (visual management), 9 step problem solving, leader standard work & process mapping.
Project Management : Support starting up, planning & delivery of RtR projects to ensure on-time completion and within budget.
Oracle Systems Transformation : Support RtR on its SMART transformation journey. This will involve supporting the period close test cycles during Oracle R12 deployments to ensure timely & accurate RtR data migration / cutover. Support change management efforts.
