    Are you an experienced finance professional with a proven track record in financial management and reporting? Do you possess strong leadership skills and the ability to drive strategic financial initiatives? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you

    Reporting to the Financial Controller, our client based in Dublin 2, are looking for a Finance Manager responsible for overseeing the internal management and statutory reporting for the business.

    You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of system enhancement, reporting enhancement and control frameworks.

    This is a 12 Month FTC with strong view for permanency. The role offers flexible working hours, hybrid working (2 days onsite), competitive salary and pension contribution.

    Responsibilities:

    • Managing a team of 6, while proactively taking ongoing steps to optimise business processes
    • Preparation of Annual Financial Statements and audit files
    • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of the month end management reporting and business partnering
    • Management and enhancement of weekly, monthly and annual controls
    • Ensure timely and accurate completion of the annual budgets and coordination across finance areas.
    • Manage and oversee the fixed asset management and reporting
    • Monitor expenditure carefully against budget
    • Lead monthly financial meetings with project managers
    • Complete detailed monthly head count reporting and forecasting including liaison with HR on latest recruitment plans
    • Supporting finance and non-finance teams in maintenance and enhancement of monthly reporting and analysis.
    • Work effectively as a 'finance business partner', building strong relationships across the organisation.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • 8 years relevant post qualification experience
    • 5 years of experience working at a managerial level with finance responsibility
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work on own initiative, as part of a team and as leader of a group.
    • Knowledge of practices/procedures of the public sector and particularly public sector accounting procedures is beneficial.
