Financial Accountant - Ireland - Morgan McKinley

Description

Reporting directly to a highly accomplished Head of Finance the successful candidate will gain excellent exposure across all areas of finance including financial reporting, forecasting, management of credit control as well as having a hands-on approach to assisting the team.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports
• Tax reporting and inventory processing
• Collecting and analysing commercial data to influence decision making.
• Develop and produce KPI reports
• Preparation of weekly cash flow statements, and controlling expenditure and cash flow
• Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts
• Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
• Conducting internal audits
• Managing and training staff when necessary

Qualifications and Skills

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with 1-2 PQE
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Big 4 training is a distinct advantage.
• Knowledge of Workday or similar reporting tools
• Strong inter personnel skills with an ability to influence senior financial and operational colleagues.
• Excellent computer skills with knowledge of MS Office applications
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
