- Ideal Candidate:
- Honors Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent
- Post Graduate qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Environmental Science, Engineering, Planning Law)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in leading the preparation of EIAR and AA/NIS for large scale projects
- Reporting to a Planning Programme Manager and collaborating with all levels of management within the organization
- Expertise in leading the delivery of EIS/EIAR and AA/NIS documentation for large scale development projects
- Experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams on EIA projects
- Understanding of EIA process and Irish planning policy and legislation
- Experience in Renewables and related infrastructure, or SID projects is a plus
- Technical expertise in a discipline related to EIA (e.g., ecology, noise, air quality) is advantageous
- Exposure to a variety of project types with varying priorities, risk profiles, and timelines is beneficial
- Skills: Environmental Science, Planning Law
