Automation Engineer - Field Service - PLC/HMI/SCADA/DCS

This is a real engineering job, in the field, using your knowledge and skills, allowing you to learn, progress, flourish and forge a career with us. You won't be putting your ideas together on a computer or sitting behind a desk, but you'll be out there, in real time, implementing your ideas.

We are an opportunity for an Automation Engineer - Field Service to join us at Honeywell, in Ireland, where you will be responsible for configure and service Distributed Control Systems and/or PLC applications and systems and/or Safety Systems. This role is client based and will be travelling around Cork, Limerick, Dublin and North Ireland.

Key responsibilities:

Configure and service Distributed Control Systems and/or PLC applications and systems and/or Safety Systems.
Responsible for the different phases of the project from understanding user requirements, documentation, reviewing requirements, testing, deploying, etc.
Ensure our client's control systems are maintained and backed up, etc.
Work with Honeywell Experion & TPS and Safety systems & PLCs.

Key skills and qualifications

Valid Driving license.
Willingness to travel within Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Automation experience or willing to work in Automation Engineer
PLC/HMI/SCADA/DCS knowledge
Any technical experience is an advantage
