    Senior Commercial Lending Analyst

    Senior Commercial Lending Analyst |Permanent| Hybrid

    A key provider of asset and liability management services is seeking a Senior Commercial Lending Analyst to help deliver effective financial support to enterprises, especially SMEs. The Senior Commercial Lending Analyst will manage and grow the portfolio of On-Lender relationships. Your focus will be on supporting the development of sustainable lending activities, building market awareness, and identifying opportunities for new lending products. You will actively engage with SMEs, Consumers, On-Lenders, and industry and government bodies to drive the success of lending initiatives.

    Role

    • Supporting the Senior Lending Manager in managing On-Lender relationships, ensuring operational and credit management compliance
    • Preparation of credit papers, including analysis of financial, credit, legal, and other risks.
    • Monitoring compliance with key conditions and covenants by extracting data from financial accounts/quarterly reports provided by On-Lenders.
    • Contributing to the development, implementation, and monitoring of robust policies, procedures, and processes for distributing products through On-Lender Partners.
    • Preparation of meeting notes, progressing outstanding actions, and managing SME queries.
    • Assisting in audits, representing group at business events, and researching opportunities and risks in renewables and sustainability sectors.
    • Monitoring and analyzing supported loans through the Loan Hub and participating in cross-function projects.

    Requirements

    • 4+ years of relevant commercial credit experience on
    • Green financing transaction experience advantageous
    • Lending experience in renewables or sustainability sectors desirable
    • Third level or professional qualification in business, finance,
    • Experience in credit assessment and report writing in a financial institution
    • Highly analytical and attention to detail.
    • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and take end-to-end ownership for task delivery.
    • Strong general literacy and IT skills, with proficiency in Excel.
    • Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
