    Description

    ADI is seeking a visionary industry leader with a passion for sensor technology to join the CTO Advance Technology Group as the Senior Director of Advanced Sensor Development. As the Senior Director of the organization, you will lead the way in creating cutting edge sensors including MEMS/NEMS, optical, magnetic, biological, and chemical for advanced sensing systems. You will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, developing strategic sensor roadmaps, managing a talented team of engineers, developing external partnerships, and contributing to groundbreaking projects that shape the future of intelligent sensing at ADI.

    Responsibilities

    Collaborate with cross-functional BU and manufacturing teams to integrate sensors into complex systems, contributing to the success of overall product development. Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of sensor and process engineers in the research, development and evaluation of various sensors including MEMS/NEMS, optical, magnetic, biological and chemical. Drive the design and implementation of sensor technologies, ensuring high performance, accuracy, and reliability. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in sensor and system development and apply this knowledge to enhance the company's sensor system capabilities. Manage team resources, project timelines and budgets to meet development milestones and deliver exceptional results. Foster a culture of innovation and cross-domain collaboration, drive for excellence within the advanced sensor development group and across ADI.

    Qualifications

    Graduate degree (MS or PhD preferred) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry , or a related field. Proven experience (15+ years) in leading and managing teams focused on sensor product development, preferably including MEMS/NEMS, optical, magnetic, biological and chemical sensors. Industry-leading expertise and innovation in sensor technologies, including design, fabrication, and evaluation. Track record of successful development and commercialization of sensor systems. Proficiency in large team and project management, with the ability to prioritize resources, tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Creative problem solver with a passion for pushing the boundaries of sensor technology.
