Morgan McKinley have partnered with wealth management and capital markets client as the look to hire an IT Security/Junior Analyst to join their IT Secuirty & Risk Team.

Reporting to the Head of IT Security & Risk, you will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of security projects, identifying and implementing enhancements to existing controls were necessary.

This role would be a great fit for a recent graduate with IT experience and looking to move into a security role.

Key Responsiblities:
Respond to and advise end users on reported phishing mails and security events. Perform daily, weekly and monthly security checks. Assist in the performance of regular phishing tests.

Review & investigate the output of security tools, including Vulnerability Assessment, SIEM & automated scripts, for security vulnerabilities and significant changes to the security status of the organisation.

Assist in the performance of regular phishing tests.


Requirements & Desriables:
Analytical, organised and problem-solving temperament by nature with the ability to troubleshoot issues independently. Excellent written and strong verbal communication skills. Degree in Information Security or IT (Desirable). IT Risk experience (Desirable). IT security compliance experience (Desirable). Knowledge of IT Security best practices (Desirable). Knowledge of Information Security and Risk frameworks such as COBiT, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Top 20 (Desirable).
