- Our Supply Chain & Retail division is the integrated pharmaceutical distribution and retail pharmacy division of the Group. The division comprises Pre-wholesale, Wholesale and Retail pharmacy businesses that work together to supply medicines, consumer products and value-adding pharmacy services to customers.
- Our Medtech division provides expertise across sales, marketing, quality, compliance, regulatory and market access to the world's top medical device manufacturers. Uniphar Medtech holds long-standing exclusive distribution agreements with some of the world's pre-eminent manufacturers of medical devices.
- Our Pharma division operates a global business with high value services across the lifecycle of a pharmaceutical product. We enable pharma and biotech companies to bring innovative medicines to global markets and provide healthcare professionals with access to medicines they cannot source through traditional channels. Uniphar Pharma comprises the Pharma services, On Demand and Exclusive Access business units.
- Working with senior stakeholders to deliver annual budget, 5 year plan and periodic forecasts (for both internal and external stakeholders),
- Deliver monthly analysis on key financial metrics, P&L, balance sheet and cashflow in order to prepare monthly financial executive reports and periodic Board reports
- Analysis, interpretation and explanation of variances to budget on a monthly basis
- Support acquisition programme, including integration of new acquisitions into the Group structure and Group budgets & forecasts
- Work closely with the financial reporting and investor relations teams to support the external reporting cycle; including analysis and insightful commentary for inclusion in results statements and investor presentations
- Provide support to manage relationships with external stakeholders including banking partners and analysts including the preparation of bank covenants for external stakeholders
- Work with Business units and Group subsidiaries to provide insight on key commercial decisions
- Understand the key "levers" within the business and focus on extrapolating and understanding trends to deliver business insights
- Work on ad-hoc projects and transaction analysis as required
- Ambitious commercially minded ACA, ACCA or CIMA with 1-2 years post qualification experience
- High level of computer literacy with strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to work with significant volumes of data to investigate and arrive at a point which allows an information-based decision to be made
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build relationships across the group and wider finance and non-finance teams
- Capable of working on their own to deliver results under time pressures
- Positive can-do attitude with a focus on action
- Excellent analytical skills (numerical and written) with strong planning and organising skills
- Strong ability to apply critical strategic thinking to resolve problems
- Strong attention to detail, with ability to challenge and question across all levels of the organization
