    Benchmark International is Ireland's and the UK's market leading mergers and acquisitions specialist, handling company sales across all areas of both the SME and corporate mid-markets.

    An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our established organisation and become an integral member of our Transaction Team.

    We are seeking driven and motivated individuals to perform a multi-faceted and report writing role, as part of a team that manages a portfolio of clients who are in the process of selling their businesses.

    Duties will include:

  • Reviewing notes, paperwork and other literature (including financial statements) regarding business sales, extracting the most salient pieces of information.
  • Preparing comprehensive and detailed Business Reports, structured in a manner to engage various types of reader.
  • Liaising with clients and internal departments at Director/Shareholder level to gather, review and discuss information required to prepare Business Reports.
  • Conducting teleconference, web-conference and face-to-face meetings with clients, as required.
  • Fostering good working relationships with clients, remaining professional and courteous at all times.
  • Other general duties, as required.
  • Experienced and trainee candidates will be considered for this role. Experienced candidates are expected to have the following:

  • Strong written skills.
  • Confidence in communicating ideas and delivering compelling content across print.
  • Excellent IT and MS Office skills.
  • Good commercial awareness.
  • Strong desk research abilities.
  • Possess a confident and professional telephone manner.
  • Full training in each aspect of the role will be provided, so previous experience is not essential.

    All candidates are expected to possess the following:

  • An excellent grasp of the English language.
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • An interest in the business world and business matters.
  • Excellent organisational skills with an ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task, managing several projects at once.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under own initiative.
