    Morgan McKinley has partnered with a Pharmacutical client as they look to hire a Level 2/3 Applications Support Engineer.

    This client provides IT services and solutions to over 500 pharmacies across Ireland with a focus on web, mobile, IT infrastructure and retail solutions to thier customers with a wide focus on various technologies and delivery models.


    Responsibilities:
    Assessing problems. Identifying and assessing technological solutions. Troubleshooting and solving existing problems. Working with cross-functional teams. Helping review and test new releases prior to go-live.


    Technical skills:
    Ability to read and analyse software application logs, stack traces and JSON message formats. Knowledge of standard IT hardware and equipment. Understand and previous experience supporting Windows applications and operating systems. Ability to diagnose and solve application issues working closely with the development and DevOps teams. Ability to learn and understand IT management software. Experience in querying and examining large files using scripts (e.g. in Linux using awk/grep/sed).
