    Role: Financial Accountant

    Reporting to: CEO

    Location: Dublin. Hybrid Role.

    Salary Band: €60,000 - €75,000 Depending on experience

    Full time role. (4 day working week is available)`

    About Kubicle:

    Due to our ongoing success we're looking for a dynamic financial accountant to help us mature our financial practices and prepare us for our next phase of growth.

    The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the financial health of the organization. You will be responsible for managing financial transactions, credit control, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of a growing domestic Irish company.

    This is a stand alone finance role, reporting to the CEO, and working alongside our commercial and operational teams as well as Board and other external stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely group financial statements (journal entries - prepayments, accruals, deferred income) & monthly management accounts, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
    • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the CEO & cross-functional teams to develop and monitor budgets, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
    • Payroll and Benefit Management: Processing monthly payroll and managing the relationships with our external benefit providers (pension & healthcare).
    • General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
    • Credit Control: Carrying out accounting and administrative duties such as the creation of sales invoices, reconciliation of accounts and following-up on unpaid debtors.
    • Tax Compliance: Preparation and submission of quarterly and annual business returns and liaising with external accountants where necessary.
    • Grants and Fundraising Initiatives: Assisting with the creation of financial documentation to support the submission of grant applications or other fundraising activities.

    Requirements:

    • Professional Accounting Qualification ACCA, ACA, CIMA
    • Experience using Xero a PLUS
    • Proven experience as a Financial Accountant, preferably in a SaaS business environment
    • Familiarity with the start-up ecosystem
    • Strong Excel skills a must / Other data visualization skills a PLUS
    • Significant understanding of finance systems and required controls
    • Accuracy and high-level attention to detail.
