    Description

    Chief Financial Officer Early stage MedTech Position Description Outstanding opportunity to join the leadership team of a privately held, early-stage venture backed MedTech company during an exciting team time for the company as they prepare for a period of rapid growth, development and commercialization in a few years.


    Reporting to the CEO, role will involve:

    Taking the lead on all future fundraising activities Building and managing a first-class finance function, with best in class financial systems and processes Investor reporting, Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury and Banking Supporting operational and strategic development of the business Delivering relevant, timely and insightful MI as required to facilitate management and Board decision-making, including KPI reporting, forecasting and financial planning Supporting the CEO and SLT in the day-to-day management of the business.

    Candidate Background Ideal candidate will have the following background:

    Qualified accountant, with a minimum of 10-15 years PQE Strong academic and career track record to date Experience of leading fundraising activities Venture Capital or Private Equity M&A, DD, disposal experience Commercially astute, articulate and a technically strong leader An ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level Excellent communication skills About of Client Our client is a high-potential, VC-backed early-stage MedTech company with HQ in Dublin.
